Connect top floor and shop floor to business networks and create new sharing asset models that support access to underutilized assets and that create new revenue streams for all participants

Factory assets are crucial for the creation of products (consumer, convenience, shopping, speciality, etc.). How companies run their factories has a major impact if products can be tagged green, clean and sustainable. The same applies to raw materials and resources of course, but here we want to talk about the manufacturing assets. Production managers need to identify new working procedures and practices to increase resource efficiency and overall sustainability. The green and clean factory can become reality by using intelligent technology allowing real-time insights, predictions, and simulations in order to enable the waste hierarchy model. This model follows the following principles: reducing waste at the source, reuse of materials, recycling, energy recovery and safe landfilling. This enables asset optimization and sustainable asset management along the complete asset lifecycle and decision support to improve shop floor equipment performance while reducing risk and making sure to leverage all resources as clean and environmental neutral as possible. Companies who manage their assets based on sustainable key metrics can improve processes and predict outcomes, collaborate across business networks, and offer differentiated service while generating new revenue streams for all participants and developing new ways to compete and optimize their industry sector. Underutilized assets or production capacities can be shared with other business partners.

🌎 Operate assets based on the needs of the circular economy practices

🌎 Optimize asset utilization, share resources and reduce waste on the shop floor

🌎 Adopt a green lean approach on the shop floor

I believe it is a time to revolutionize the way we do business. It is time for a Purpose-driven Wellbeing Economy. But to achieve this goal we need to better utilize and share resources based on green lean practices following a waste hierarchy model which supports the circular economy. What do you think?
